The course is structured into three historical phases

This course integrates insights from Qur’anic exegesis (Tafsīr), Ḥadīth, and Islamic jurisprudence (Fiqh) to provide a well-rounded understanding of the Prophet’s life and mission.

Phase1

Pre-Islamic Arabian Peninsula

Exploring the social, cultural, and religious landscape of the Arabian Peninsula before Prophethood.

Phase 2

Makkan Period

Analysing both the secret and public phases of the first Islamic movement, highlighting significant events leading up to the migration.

Phase 3

Medinan Period

Examining the establishment of the Islamic state, pivotal battles, treaties, and the momentous conquest of Makkah.
